Bryan grew up in Lake Tahoe, CA. where the local trails sparked his passion for mountain biking. While he enjoyed going on long rides with friends, he swore he would never race. That didn’t last long…

A good friend finally talked him into racing and he was hooked for life. During his high school years Bryan quickly worked his way up through the ranks and gained his first taste of the podium. Cycling became his passion. When looking at colleges he had one thing on his mind: bike racing. When the acceptance letter came from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he knew that was where he belonged.

During his freshman year Bryan trained with the school’s best mountain bikers and after seeing them head off to represent CU at the national championships, his goal became to do the same.  In 2006 and 2007 he not only made the team but was their top rider, achieving podium finishes both years. He also volunteered as the President of CU Cycling during those years while he finished up getting his Bachelor’s degree in Geography – (unused to this day, but at least he’s rarely lost).

14 years of racing later, Bryan has accomplished multiple top 10 finishes at the U.S. Mountain Bike National Championships and continues to frequent the podium at many of the races he enters. Bryan currently lives in Boulder, CO and works full-time as the Digital Marketing Manager at TrainingPeaks. He’s an assistant mountain bike coach for Boulder Junior Cycling and racing for TrainingPeaks, Yeti Cycles and Pactimo. Bryan is about as friendly as they come. If you ever see him on the trails or at a race, be sure to come up and say hello.
